About Me

My photo
alpaca kids
My brother owns a small alpaca farm in the mountains of North Carolina. When I found out that I was going to be a grandmother, he sent me some yarn made of his alpaca fiber so I could make sweaters for the new babies that were coming. I fell in love with the qualities of alpaca fiber- it's incredibly soft, stronger and warmer than wool, and hypoallergenic. Since I couldn't stop making baby things with it, I set up an etsy shop, http://www.etsy.com/shop/alpacakids. So now I'm selling the things that I make with the same love and care that I use when I create things for my grandchildren.
